ANNOUNCEMENT: New Floodlighting

We very recently welcomed Jackson Taylor MP to the Club and received the amazing announcement that we are to receive $60,000 from the Labour State Government and $30,000 from Knox City Council to help fund new floodlighting. The Club will contribute $30,000 towards the overall cost of this project which will deliver a massive improvement to our current ageing lighting in the form of 100 lux, LED competition grade lights across both greens for the club and community to enjoy for years to come. It will mean longer play during summer and significantly better lighting for twilight community events and many other social functions. The opportunities are fantastic.

A small group of people worked very hard over quite a long period to make this happen and help ensure our Club continues to move in the right direction with a bright future (excuse the pun).

There is still a lot to do but it is hoped the work will commence around November and possibly run through to February.
