CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

We have separate events for Men and Ladies

Club Singles – First to score 25 points                       4 bowls

Club Pairs – Highest score after 18 ends                    2x2x2x2 bowls

Club Triples – Highest score after 18 ends                 3 bowls

Club Fours – Highest score after 18 ends                   2 bowls

Club Mixed Pairs – Highest score after 18 ends         2x2x2x2 bowls

 

OTHER CLUB COMPETITION EVENTS

 

Proportional 100 up – This is a handicap event which gives every player a chance. 4 bowls

Open 2 bowl Singles – First to score 21 points

Minor 4 bowl Singles – For all players who have not played more than 6 games in the number 1 side, first to score 21 points

Minor 2 bowl Singles – Same conditions as above

Novice Singles – For all players in their first 3 seasons of bowling (previous winners not eligible), first to score 21 points. 4 bowls

 

CLUB TOURNAMENT EVENTS

 

Easter Cup Mixed Triples – Played over 3 games, each of 12 ends

Chandler Cup Mixed Triples – Played over 2 games, each of 12 ends

President’s Day – Normally Triples or Fours played over 2 games, each of 8 ends followed by tea and club championship/tournament winners’ presentations

 

MONTHLY MIXED TRIPLES

Entry fees apply and these events are also open to outside clubs who are especially welcome to enter a team. 11am start and generous prize money is awarded to the various winners. Format is 2 games of 11 and 12 ends respectively. BYO lunch

Mondays – 3^rd Monday of each month from October thru to April

Wednesdays – 1^st Wednesday of each month from October thru to April

 

SOCIAL PAIRS

We run Social pairs each WEDNESDAY throughout the year, 12.30pm start. Format is 2 games of 10 ends with a break for tea. Outside club members are always most welcome to join us.

This event also extends to SATURDAYS from mid-MAY each year
